SELECTION OF A SOLVENT FOR SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF A THREE-COMPONENT MEDICINAL MIXTURE

Abstract

The aim of the study was to select a solvent for spectrophotometric analysis of a three-component drug mixture containing acetylsalicylic acid, paracetamol, and caffeine without separating the components. The spectra were studied in acidic and alkaline media at concentrations corresponding to the composition of Citramon-S tablets. We have proposed a solvent: ethyl alcohol 98% - 0.01 mol / l solution of hydrochloric acid in a ratio of 1:10.
